7 Years Ago Today!

7 years ago today, I had the most precious gift placed in to my arms.  A sweet little bundle of joy!  She was pretty happy and content.  Fast forward 7 years...She is a high maintenance little girl, this being one of the main reasons we are getting a son and not another daughter =).  She likes to be entertained and have our attention.  Boy are we in trouble!  We have had so much fun the last 7 years and are looking forward to many more years of fun and excitement. 

She had a field trip at camp today and went bowling.  She said she had the highest score both games.

I surprised her by dropping off cupcakes to summer camp to celebrate Gotcha Day!  I thought I needed to do this because a couple of weeks ago, she asked if we could take cupcakes for her birthday to camp.  I told her we would be home.  She wanted to know if we could just drop them off.  I told her no.  So today, she had cupcakes at camp in her honor!

She has gymnastics.  We made it tonight and early too!  Then, we will go, at her request to dinner to celebrate Gotcha Day and to her choice of restaurant...Dynasty (our favorite Chinese restaurant).

Happy Birthday to my littlest sister, Shannon!  May you have a safe, healthy, and wonderful year!!!  We love you!!!

I did email our agency today and asked if they had any news for us.  Xiaoqing said she was going to check this evening for us.

Come on Travel Approval!!!

We are waiting for Travel Approval.  I can't stand it!  I feel like I am approaching the top of a roller coaster and the butterflies in my stomach are killing me.  I don't like surprises.  I like to know what is going on.  I am ready to get this party started!

I was told (kind of) about this blog post.  You have to go way down past all the pictures from the museum.  Guess who that cute little boy is the lady is holding...that's right, that's our boy!

This week, Sophie has been going to Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Church in Moreland and tonight she had gymnastics so she was going to miss VBS.  After work, I thought I had plenty of time to get her to gymnastics because her class was later than the class she was taking during the school year.  As we were almost there for her 7 pm class, I thought, is her class at 6?  Well, guess what?  It is at 6!  I made her miss it and she missed VBS.
